Viscosity Systems
UIC's viscosity systems bridge the gap between manual methods and expensive, fully automated systems. Our ASTM D445 compliant systems utilize a proprietary electro-optical timing sensor that will allow for the simultaneous determination of up to 12 viscosities; saving you time and providing greater accuracy.

Model 929
 Semi-Automatic Kinematic Viscosity System
The UIC Model 929 Semi-Automatic Viscosity System can determine the viscosities of up to 12 samples simultaneously and independently.

A standard system consists of a 12-position controller with an LCD screen and compact keyboard, a lighted, 7-position constant temperature bath, and 6 viscometer tubes with proprietary, removable electro-optical sensor assemblies attached.

This system can be used to determine the kinematic and dynamic viscosity of any transparent or opaque Newtonian fluid in the range of 0.3 to 100,000 centistokes.  Conforms to ASTM D445.

Visco III
 3 Channel Viscosity Timer
The Visco III 3 channel viscosity timer offers an economical and highly reliable method for the determination of kinematic viscosity in Newtonian fluids.  Used in conjunction with UIC's electro-optical sensor assemblies, the Visco III can be used to accurately determine viscosities over the range of 0.5 to 100,000 centipoise with a repeatability of +/- 1%.

Removable Optical Sensor Assemblies
These removable, submersible optical sensor assemblies are rated to 110 degrees C and can be reused on viscometer tubes of the same type.

Model 929 Constant Temperature Bath
The Model 929 Constant Temperature Bath controls temperature to +/- 0.01 degrees C, has 7 positions, interior light and motorized stirrer.  Conforms to ASTM D445.
