3-Channel Viscosity Timer

The Visco III 3 channel viscosity timer by UIC, Inc. offers an economical and highly reliable method for the determination of kinematic viscosity in Newtonian fluids.

Suitable for use with virtually any glass viscometer that has been equipped with our proprietary optical sensors, the Visco III timer accurately measures the time it takes a fluid meniscus to pass between two points. In this fashion, the Visco III timer can be used to accurately determine viscosities over the range of 0.5 to 100,000 centipoise with a repeatability of +/- 1%.

Featuring quartz crystal technology to permit the measurement of time in units of 1.0, 0.1 or 0.01 seconds, each Visco III timer also includes self-diagnostics which allow adjustment of the optical sensors for variations in viscometer wall thickness.
